July 17th – 19th: Strappo/Monoprint Workshop at Waterfall Arts
Jun 17, 2013
Harold Garde will be teaching a workshop on his famous Strappo Technique at Waterfall Arts in Belfast, ME.
The classes will be held Wednesday July 17th through July 19th, from 9:00am to 12:00pm
“Strappo is a dry image transfer process, requiring no press or special equipment, that Harold Garde has developed named and taught throughout the country for many years. Still going strong at 90 this year, Harold loves to share this process. It is a unique print method using paint on glass for creating transfer images which can stand alone or enhance artwork in various ways. Strappo has been recognized as a specific printmaking monotype procedure by the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, which holds a sample in their print library. Come and learn from the master!”
All classes have minimum and maximum enrollment thresholds, so early registration will improve the chances of a class running and of your slot in it! Waterfall Arts has a limited scholarship account for people who cannot access our classes without some financial assistance.
